Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Yakakent's Fatsali Türkoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giray Ongay in the 4th minute of play. Arslan Kutsan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nurkan Haylaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Nurkan Haylaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arslan Kutsan in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Giray Ongay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ankara Gençlik ve Spor and the Yakakent players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giray Ongay hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arslan Kutsan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nurkan Haylaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yakakent's Fatsali Türkoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Yakakent from getting a goal against them. After having played for 24 minutes, Çağrı Yürükoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Çağrı Yürükoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Polat Aybar made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Yakakent's Bekir Türk. After a rather tough play, Yakakent's Necmi Lefter got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Yakakent's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Afşin Ongen scored to the left of an out of position Fatsali Türkoğlu, making the score, 1-1. Atabey İnan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Nurkan Haylaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 47th minute of the match Arslan Kutsan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arslan Kutsan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Türker Korhan made the kick off in the second half. Fatsali Türkoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giray Ongay, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Semail Nadir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Türker Korhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurkan Haylaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Atabey İnan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yakakent's supporters rose to their feet, but Atabey İnan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nurkan Haylaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afşin Ongen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Yakakent defense, Afşin Ongen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fatsali Türkoğlu. The Yakakent fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fatsali Türkoğlu should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Yakakent getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Feng Guang Ling hit a great ball. Ankara Gençlik ve Spor's Giray Ongay got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ankara Gençlik ve Spor had won after a very even match.
