Vahap Sadiray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLDPLAY. Şener Suerdem hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes COLDPLAY got a freekick which was hit by Halil İbrahim Tüzmen. 13 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE SPOR's Yetkin Egesel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHÇE SPOR's zone, Ahmet Hakan Taceddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahap Sadiray came out of the goal and Ahmet Hakan Taceddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. COLDPLAY's Halil İbrahim Tüzmen got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdeniz Midilli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vahap Sadiray having to interfere. COLDPLAY's Ahmet Hakan Taceddin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Devlet Yaver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FENERBAHÇE SPOR's Çetin Rical got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHÇE SPOR's zone, Devlet Yaver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahap Sadiray came out of the goal and Devlet Yaver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şanver Toper was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Devlet Yaver managed to get in a good position for a shot. COLDPLAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Devlet Yaver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vahap Sadiray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the game, Devlet Yaver recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vahap Sadiray. Devlet Yaver showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. COLDPLAY were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after FENERBAHÇE SPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Devlet Yaver took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHÇE SPOR's zone, Erdeniz Midilli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vahap Sadiray came out of the goal and Erdeniz Midilli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Hakan Taceddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Devlet Yaver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devlet Yaver in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vahap Sadiray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vahap Sadiray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlet Yaver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vahap Sadiray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Devlet Yaver in the 87th minute. Korkutalp Timur hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
