Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abidin Ekincioğlu made the kick off which started today's match. Mehmet Anıl Remzi struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Izydor Solibieda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edremit. After 4 minutes, Halim Saip mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maltepespor SK and the Edremit players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maltepespor SK's Halim Saip got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tansu Namal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abidin Ekincioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tansu Namal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abidin Ekincioğlu in the 10th minute of play. Izydor Solibieda came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Edremit's Ahmet Nafiz Tangun. But to his dismay, Ahmet Nafiz Tangun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute, Maltepespor SK's Halim Özgurel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Cevdet Bektaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Edremit's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mehmet Arif Hüdayioğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Baba Oğuzhan fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edremit's protests and gave Baba Oğuzhan a yellow card for diving instead. Baba Oğuzhan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Tansu Namal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abidin Ekincioğlu in the 26th minute of play. When Halim Özgurel came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Maltepespor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halim Özgurel couldn't finish the play. Tansu Namal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halim Özgurel in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Maltepespor SK booed when Edremit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Kağan Andaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Kağan Andaç kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes, Maltepespor SK's Raşit Neşit shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tansu Namal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maltepespor SK reached it. Mehmet Çağrı Başdaş hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Tansu Namal came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Maltepespor SK's Abidin Ekincioğlu. But to his dismay, Abidin Ekincioğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

Ahmet Nafiz Tangun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tansu Namal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abidin Ekincioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Halim Saip struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Tansu Namal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maltepespor SK. Abidin Ekincioğlu scored 3-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tansu Namal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tansu Namal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abidin Ekincioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Abidin Ekincioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Tansu Namal. Edremit's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Abidin Ekincioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maltepespor SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abidin Ekincioğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tansu Namal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Anıl Remzi came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Izydor Solibieda could save by the left post. Maltepespor SK's Cevdet Bektaş got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Maltepespor SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Saip to maneuver through the defense. After 88 minutes of play, Maltepespor SK's Halim Özgurel made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tansu Namal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Edremit defense, Cevdet Bektaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tansu Namal. The Edremit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tansu Namal should have stopped the shot. Edremit's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
