With a little luck, Galatasaray SK's Ahmet Hakan Sonat got control of the ball when Zühtü Alan tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zühtü Alan couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Zühtü Alan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ahmet Hakan Sonat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferhat Satılmış's late challenge caught a １３ Temmu乙's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferhat Satılmış helped the player get up and apologised. Zühtü Alan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Hakan Sonat having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Eralp Serir lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Ahmet Hakan Sonat. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ayberk Onar to strike the kick off in the second half. When １３ Temmu乙's Eralp Serir in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galatasaray SK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute, Yahya Kemal Yamaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galatasaray SK's Ahmet Hakan Sonat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zühtü Alan in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Zühtü Alan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hakan Sonat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes, １３ Temmu乙's Güralp Baytüzün shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Hakan Sonat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in １３ Temmu乙 reached it. 88 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goal looked a bit too open when Zühtü Alan came free, but Ahmet Hakan Sonat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
