Cubuk SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaziantep the free kick. The supporters of Gaziantep booed when Cubuk SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yücel Pekgöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulkadir Baytüzün was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kuddusî Reşit showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 13th minute, Turan Cansever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaziantep's Mümtazer Yura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refik Halit Cansefa in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Cubuk SK's Refik Halit Cansefa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mümtazer Yura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Aytunç Akdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Yavuz Selim Hekimoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Refik Halit Cansefa made a precise shot to the right of Mümtazer Yura. Gaziantep's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 35 minutes, Refik Halit Cansefa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cubuk SK and the Gaziantep players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Cubuk SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Refik Halit Cansefa to maneuver through the defense. Mümtazer Yura came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Cubuk SK's Nurtekin Sabancı. But to his dismay, Nurtekin Sabancı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Cubuk SK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Durmuş Müftüoğlu hit a great ball.

Cubuk SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 58 minutes into the match, Gaziantep's goalkeeper Mümtazer Yura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emirhan Mirza. The supporters of Gaziantep booed when Cubuk SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hakkı Çağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulkadir Baytüzün dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. After 74 minutes, Aytunç Akdoğan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cubuk SK and the Gaziantep players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Cubuk SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytunç Akdoğan to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Yavuz Selim Hekimoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulkadir Baytüzün skillfully saved the ball. Kuddusî Reşit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 90th minute Kuddusî Reşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Baytüzün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaziantep were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Cubuk SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pawel Sitko took the corner. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
