KEMALİYE SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Turan Cansever was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Turan Cansever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, KEMALİYE SPOR's Baskın Yerel seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baskın Yerel the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KEMALİYE SPOR protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baskın Yerel had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 24th minute, one of KEMALİYE SPOR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KEMALİYE SPOR. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abay Boysan made a kick off. After 55 minutes, Fırat Kaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaziantep and the KEMALİYE SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mümtazer Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cengizhan Uluşahin in the 57th minute of the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
