Fevzi Özerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahadır Kambay, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferman Çolak got free with Ali Haydar Reşat in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hayri Orkut showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Köse defense, Cevahir Canberk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Haydar Reşat. The Köse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Haydar Reşat should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Köse's Feyyaz Gökkır slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fevzi Özerman. That made the score 1-7 after 95 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Köse left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ALTUNTAŞ F.K..
