Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Malik Al Sayer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Crookes's goal looked a bit too open when Naem Kamal came free, but Seraj Al Wazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Malik Al Sayer had to leave the field with a concussion. After 5 minutes, Nasser Al Najdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grove FC and the Crookes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Nasser Al Najdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Grove FC's zone, Ali Al Ramzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barakat Bo Hamad came out of the goal and Ali Al Ramzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mahdi Al Banwan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crookes's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahdi Al Banwan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barakat Bo Hamad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes Crookes got a freekick which was hit by Mahdi Al Banwan. 15 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Grove FC's Sobah Al Khames fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Naem Kamal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Seraj Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sobah Al Khames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seraj Al Wazan having to interfere. When Jalal Al Hajraf fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crookes's protests and gave Jalal Al Hajraf a yellow card for diving instead. Jalal Al Hajraf kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Seraj Al Wazan came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Grove FC's Sobah Al Khames. But to his dismay, Sobah Al Khames quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 33 played minutes Grove FC got a freekick which was hit by Naem Kamal. With his leg Barakat Bo Hamad managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Crookes's Ali Al Ramzi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ali Al Ramzi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Crookes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ali Al Ramzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Barakat Bo Hamad made a huge save. After 48 played minutes Crookes's Ali Al Ramzi stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Barakat Bo Hamad stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Grove FC of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sobah Al Khames made a kick off. Salam Al Hajraf charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salam Al Hajraf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Salam Al Hajraf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Faris Al Khars got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Hamzah Al Saleh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crookes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grove FC the free kick. In the 70th minute, Hamzah Al Saleh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Crookes's goalkeeper Seraj Al Wazan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naem Kamal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Naem Kamal took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Seraj Al Wazan to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 86 minutes, Sobah Al Khames managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grove FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sobah Al Khames was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naem Kamal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jalal Al Fadhalah charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jalal Al Fadhalah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute Grove FC were awarded a corner. Nawaf Al Harban went to the cornerflag to take it. Nawaf Al Harban made a great header on Grove FC's corner, it was just that Crookes's Seraj Al Wazan managed to reach the ball for a save. The Grove FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
