That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Taqi Al Arbash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Qasem Al Towatan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Qasem Al Towatan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taqi Al Arbash's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Taqi Al Arbash sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oun Shadad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mortada Al Qatam, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Mortada Al Qatam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oun Shadad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oun Shadad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Shabakhoh, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bader Al Hadhod could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Qasem Al Towatan made a huge save. Qasem Al Towatan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bader Al Hadhod in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bader Al Hadhod got free with Qasem Al Towatan in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Camborne AFC booed when Moretonhampstead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sulaiman Al Shaikh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Taqi Al Arbash got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mortada Al Qatam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oun Shadad having to interfere. A collision led to Camborne AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abdullah Al Towatan hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Camborne AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Shabakhoh came free, but Oun Shadad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jamal Shabakhoh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Mortada Al Qatam got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Moretonhampstead's Mortada Al Qatam got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Moretonhampstead defense, Taqi Al Arbash kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qasem Al Towatan. The Moretonhampstead fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qasem Al Towatan should have stopped the shot. Fawzy Bo Resley kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Taqi Al Arbash's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Qasem Al Towatan was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Mortada Al Qatam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Oun Shadad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taqi Al Arbash in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qasem Al Towatan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Moretonhampstead getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Hakem Al Qattamy hit a great ball. Oun Shadad made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jamal Shabakhoh sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taqi Al Arbash in the 92nd minute of play forced Moretonhampstead's goalkeeper Qasem Al Towatan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Moretonhampstead's goalkeeper Qasem Al Towatan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Camborne AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Moretonhampstead had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
