Stanislav Buznikin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Zyuzin having to interfere. Denis Kabanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Denis Kabanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Novomoskovsk booed when Енисей was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Moiseev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilya Zinovev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Kabanov in the 34th minute of play. Енисей's Ilya Zinovev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andron Kunschikov in the 37th minute of play. Denis Kabanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Novomoskovsk's Andron Kunschikov got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Yaroslav Gurvich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksey Zyuzin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Andrey Prudnikov hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Danil Balabuha hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ilya Zinovev came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Novomoskovsk's Eduard Aksenov. But to his dismay, Eduard Aksenov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to Novomoskovsk getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Andron Kunschikov hit a great ball. Yaroslav Gurvich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergey Saveliev kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Novomoskovsk's zone, Stanislav Buznikin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksey Zyuzin came out of the goal and Stanislav Buznikin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksey Zyuzin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaroslav Gurvich in the 77th minute of play. Stanislav Buznikin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Novomoskovsk defense, Stanislav Buznikin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleksey Zyuzin. The Novomoskovsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleksey Zyuzin should have stopped the shot. Yaroslav Gurvich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Zyuzin having to interfere. Stanislav Buznikin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Aleksey Zyuzin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Енисей. Yaroslav Gurvich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleksey Zyuzin having to interfere. When Marat Kononov fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Novomoskovsk's protests and gave Marat Kononov a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Novomoskovsk got a freekick which was hit by Marat Kononov. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Stanislav Buznikin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Енисей's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanislav Buznikin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksey Zyuzin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
