Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Irakliy Korst kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Fortuna FC defense, Ruben Bryksin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Derevyanko. The Fortuna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Derevyanko should have stopped the shot. If Gerasim Bereznevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, Fortuna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Zorin to maneuver through the defense. When Ruben Bryksin came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Yaroslavl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Bryksin couldn't finish the play. Ruben Bryksin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Fortuna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Bryksin came free, but Viktor Derevyanko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerasim Bereznevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Rustam Bogdanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Derevyanko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Derevyanko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rustam Bogdanov in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes of play, Yaroslavl's Ruben Bryksin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Derevyanko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artem Velinskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artem Velinskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Yaroslavl got a freekick which was hit by Artem Velinskiy. 39 minutes into the match, Rustam Bogdanov notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Fortuna FC's Viktor Derevyanko. Viktor Derevyanko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Yaroslavl were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gerasim Bereznevich scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valter Tashpulatov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viktor Derevyanko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artem Velinskiy in the 58th minute of play. Valter Tashpulatov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irakliy Korst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match Fortuna FC got a corner. Yaroslavl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Irakliy Korst ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Irakliy Korst almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yaroslavl's Valter Tashpulatov did a great save. In the 72nd minute, Rustam Bogdanov made a precise shot to the right of Viktor Derevyanko. Fortuna FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 75th minute of the match, Denis Chimevich tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Viktor Derevyanko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stanislav Pletnev charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislav Pletnev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Yaroslavl's Stanislav Pletnev got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Dmitriy Mazurov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valter Tashpulatov skillfully saved the ball. Gerasim Bereznevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Valter Tashpulatov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Chimevich in the 84th minute of play forced Fortuna FC's goalkeeper Viktor Derevyanko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Derevyanko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Bryksin in the 89th minute of the match. The Fortuna FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yaroslavl were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
