Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boris Auer started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Aleksandr Nazarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murmansk FC's Igor Naumov got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuriy Chalenko took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aleksandr Legoshin. Aleksandr Legoshin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Yuriy Chalenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Aleksandr Legoshin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Murmansk FC booed when CSKA Moscow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandr Nazarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksandr Legoshin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuriy Chalenko in the 15th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Nikolay Mehovich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murmansk FC and the CSKA Moscow players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Murmansk FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nikolay Mehovich hit a great ball. Sergey Antonov's late challenge caught a Murmansk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergey Antonov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CSKA Moscow getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sergey Antonov hit a great ball. If Igor Naumov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Naumov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuriy Chalenko in the 24th minute of play forced CSKA Moscow's goalkeeper Aleksandr Legoshin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CSKA Moscow's Aleksandr Legoshin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuriy Chalenko in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Aleksandr Nazarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikolay Mehovich was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 34 minutes into the match, CSKA Moscow's Boris Auer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albert Adrianov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The CSKA Moscow players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Murmansk FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Naumov was the one to do the kick off. Murmansk FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lavrentiy Deineko in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Lavrentiy Deineko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CSKA Moscow's Aleksandr Legoshin did a great save. A collision led to Murmansk FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Irakliy Saikin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CSKA Moscow's Filimon Afanasenko got a free kick in the 61st minute. Igor Naumov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladislav Fomenko kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With his leg Aleksandr Legoshin managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Murmansk FC's Igor Naumov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 67 minutes into the game, Murmansk FC's Igor Naumov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aleksandr Legoshin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Igor Naumov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 80th minute, Igor Naumov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boris Auer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albert Adrianov having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Auer in the 89th minute of play forced Murmansk FC's goalkeeper Albert Adrianov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleksandr Legoshin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Naumov went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Murmansk FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
