Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Voldemar Amelichev got the match started through his kick off. But to his dismay, Voldemar Amelichev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Stepan Aksinin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Baigulov having to interfere. Nikolay Baigulov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Voldemar Amelichev in the 27th minute of the match. Voldemar Amelichev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolay Baigulov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Voldemar Amelichev in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolay Baigulov saved Lviv Lions FC from getting behind. Stepan Aksinin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oktyabrsky FC's Stepan Aksinin got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Viktor Panfilov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkhip Ismailov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Voldemar Amelichev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolay Baigulov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Oktyabrsky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Panfilov came free, but Arkhip Ismailov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
