Grigoriy Vorontsov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Viktor Nikiforov succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Efrem Yurchishin scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigoriy Vorontsov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigoriy Vorontsov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Nikiforov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Bratsek's goal looked a bit too open when Efrem Yurchishin came free, but Grigoriy Vorontsov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigoriy Vorontsov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrem Yurchishin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ilya Olifirenko fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bratsek's protests and gave Ilya Olifirenko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Bratsek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilya Olifirenko to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Nikiforov in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Grigoriy Vorontsov saved Bratsek from getting behind. Efrem Yurchishin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrem Yurchishin in the 47th minute of play forced Bratsek's goalkeeper Grigoriy Vorontsov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Grigoriy Vorontsov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efrem Yurchishin went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 0-8 became the score in the 79th minute when Efrem Yurchishin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vsevolod Loginov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egor Knyshev in the 86th minute of the match. Grigoriy Vorontsov was a little too slow when Mariusz Daszkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-9. Выборгский Викинг made a substitution. Leonid Biryukov replaced Ernest Bezukhov. In the 92nd minute, Выборгский Викинг's Efrem Yurchishin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Efrem Yurchishin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Grigoriy Vorontsov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Выборгский Викинг's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
