A collision led to Salatrucu CSM getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Iosif Păun hit a great ball. Putreda CSM's Lucian Pricop couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Salatrucu CSM. Mădălin Gavrilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Caragea in the 11th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Ferdinand Caragea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salatrucu CSM's Mădălin Gavrilă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionuț Herlea made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Caragea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mădălin Gavrilă, 1-1. Petre Vermeşan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Caragea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Gavrilă having to interfere. Ferdinand Caragea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mădălin Gavrilă came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferdinand Caragea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute, Ivan Dumitru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorin Ştiopul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Pricop, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Dorin Ştiopul could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Mădălin Gavrilă however easily saved by the left post. In the 80th match minute, Putreda CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Săvulescu to maneuver through the defense. Salatrucu CSM's Mădălin Gavrilă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Salatrucu CSM from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Caragea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Putreda CSM booed when Salatrucu CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Păun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dorin Ştiopul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
