Nichifor Comșa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Tărău, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 11th minute, Claudiu Bogdan made a precise shot to the right of Nicolae Tănăsie. Bortos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Bortos's Nicolae Tănăsie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Bortos from getting a goal against them. Petrică Croitoru's late challenge caught a Bortos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petrică Croitoru helped the player get up and apologised. Claudiu Bogdan struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nicolae Tănăsie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suska AFC. Suska AFC's Codruț Luțu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Codruț Luțu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicolae Tănăsie, passed just outside the right post. If Claudiu Bogdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudiu Bogdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Tănăsie having to interfere. Nicolae Tănăsie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Luțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Mugur Tarchilă kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Bortos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Birișu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Bogdan in the 71st minute of play forced Bortos's goalkeeper Nicolae Tănăsie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Tănăsie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Bogdan in the 93rd minute of the match. There was no doubt that Suska AFC were the better team. Suska AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
