Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sever Vulpe got the match started through his kick off. If Ilie Ducu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Teodor Ticulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iustin Urderean was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Vidacutu's Teodor Ticulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iustin Urderean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 21st minute Sever Vulpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Unciuleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prunisoru's Sever Vulpe got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Prunisoru booed when Vidacutu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Hâncu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sever Vulpe struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Gelu Unciuleanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prunisoru. Nistor Ţăranu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nistor Ţăranu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Iustin Urderean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidacutu. 40 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Vidacutu's Teodor Ticulescu fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 43rd minute Teodor Ticulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Urderean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Prunisoru got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Loga. In the 47th minute Sever Vulpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelu Unciuleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodor Ticulescu to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodor Ticulescu in the 51st minute of play forced Prunisoru's goalkeeper Iustin Urderean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Liviu Loga fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Prunisoru's protests and gave Liviu Loga a yellow card for diving instead. Liviu Loga kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Nistor Ţăranu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iustin Urderean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Urderean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Ţăranu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodor Ticulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Iustin Urderean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustin Urderean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Ţăranu in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Sever Vulpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prunisoru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sever Vulpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Prunisoru's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Ticulescu came free, but Iustin Urderean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vidacutu's Viorel Hâncu got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Vidacutu's Gelu Unciuleanu got control of the ball when Ilie Ducu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viorel Hâncu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Teodor Ticulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Urderean having to interfere. Iustin Urderean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Ţăranu in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Prunisoru's Gabriel Hurmuz got a free kick in the 85th minute. The corner led Vidacutu's Constantin Domuță to fire away a dangerous shot which Iustin Urderean despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
