Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Jianu started the match with the kick off. Gigel Taşcău scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Fecioru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute, Mădălin Bădiță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dranov FC's Eduard Negru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mădălin Bădiță in the 22nd minute of play. Azochim Savinesti's attentive Nicodim Teleagă managed to snatch the ball when Radu Bobocea made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Mădălin Bădiță might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduard Negru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mădălin Bădiță ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Bădiță in the 41st minute of play forced Dranov FC's goalkeeper Eduard Negru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azochim Savinesti's attentive Horaţiu Nasta managed to snatch the ball when Eric Ţirpescu made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Panait Homescu made a kick off. Costin Udroiu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dranov FC booed when Azochim Savinesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Teleagă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Gigel Taşcău left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dranov FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Gigel Taşcău's late challenge caught a Azochim Savinesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigel Taşcău helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dranov FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gigel Taşcău hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Mădălin Bădiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Negru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Jianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Negru having to interfere. Leonard Jianu scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduard Negru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Dranov FC's Denis Almăgean got a free kick in the 80th minute. Eduard Negru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Bădiță, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Taşcău got free with Alex Fecioru in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite being the better team, Azochim Savinesti failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
