Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luca Ţăranu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luca Ţăranu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Dranov FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Virloveni CF:s goal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Virloveni CF. Luca Ţăranu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eduard Negru. 0-1. Luca Ţăranu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Negru having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Dranov FC's zone, Luca Ţăranu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Negru came out of the goal and Luca Ţăranu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucrețiu Baniciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Homescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Negru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Ţăranu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Costin Udroiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dranov FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virloveni CF the free kick. Luca Ţăranu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Eduard Negru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Almăgean got free with Lucrețiu Baniciu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gigi Brăescu's late challenge caught a Dranov FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gigi Brăescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Gigi Brăescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucrețiu Baniciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Udroiu in the 28th minute of the match. If Luca Ţăranu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Alex Călin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virloveni CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Călin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luca Ţăranu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Luca Ţăranu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dranov FC's Eduard Negru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luca Ţăranu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dranov FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Virloveni CF the free kick. After 62 played minutes Dranov FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Spânu. After 69 played minutes, Dranov FC's Radu Cucu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucrețiu Baniciu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dranov FC reached it. Alex Călin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Eduard Negru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Ţăranu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Negru having to interfere. Eduard Negru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Liviu Lung showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. After 91 played minutes Virloveni CF got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Lung. Virloveni CF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
