After 17 minutes, Ion Dobrica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc★Throwback United and the Voriuceni players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fc★Throwback United's Ion Dobrica got a free kick in the 17th minute. Romeo Hrib struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Cristian Corbu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voriuceni. After having played for 26 minutes, Kuuno Virmaline managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voriuceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kuuno Virmaline was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kuuno Virmaline had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorel Opriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cristian Corbu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Kuuno Virmaline got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Voriuceni booed when Fc★Throwback United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Cudalb didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dorel Opriș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fc★Throwback United getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Niculae Negoescu hit a great ball. When Kuuno Virmaline came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Voriuceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kuuno Virmaline couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ion Dobrica sped through Voriuceni's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Costel Stolojan. Petruț Deșliu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Aurelian Cristoloveanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Costel Stolojan. Voriuceni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Petruț Pușcariu charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petruț Pușcariu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80thth minute of the game Dorel Opriș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc★Throwback United's Cristian Corbu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dorel Opriș's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Cristian Corbu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Cristian Corbu managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Voriuceni's Ştefan Benga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A sloppy throw-in by Manole Mircescu in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Voriuceni's Kuuno Virmaline. Cristian Corbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Opriș in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fc★Throwback United could leave the field as winners, despite Voriuceni having more of the ball for most of the match.
