But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavril Ţirpe couldn't finish the play. Augustin Hreapcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustin Hreapcă took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rareș Ioviță. Rareș Ioviță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gavril Ţirpe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 1-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Victor Caba elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Victor Caba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Călimanescu having to interfere. Gavril Ţirpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Călimanescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Kelemenpatak SC's goalkeeper Iosif Călimanescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Caba. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Ţirpe in the 43rd minute of play forced Kelemenpatak SC's goalkeeper Iosif Călimanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Gavril Ţirpe made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Kelemenpatak SC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Caba came free, but Iosif Călimanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Farcasul FC's Gabriel Cândrea got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 54th minute of the match Emanuel Cartiș sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rareș Ioviță skillfully saved the ball. Gavril Ţirpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Călimanescu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Victor Caba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farcasul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Caba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Călimanescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iosif Călimanescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Caba's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Gavril Ţirpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Farcasul FC's Gavril Ţirpe in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kelemenpatak SC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Gavril Ţirpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iosif Călimanescu was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Lungu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 84 played minutes Kelemenpatak SC got a freekick which was hit by Isac Lungu. If Gavril Ţirpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th match minute, Farcasul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Plopan to maneuver through the defense.
