In the 2nd minute, Alin Dragu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Cornel Dorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Dorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurențiu Oanță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ionică Vochin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurențiu Oanță was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 23 minutes of play, MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Ionică Vochin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurențiu Oanță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciacova CF's Laurențiu Oanță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Blănaru in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciacova CF's goalkeeper Laurențiu Oanță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Aristide Orghidan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciacova CF the free kick. Constantin Hâncu charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Hâncu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ionică Vochin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Laurențiu Oanță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Zbârciog during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Ciacova CF got a freekick which was hit by Dan Zbârciog. Șerban Carabulea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Laurențiu Oanță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Ionică Vochin notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ciacova CF's Laurențiu Oanță. Laurențiu Oanță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half MONDIAL BUCURESTI were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Cornel Dorian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alin Dragu charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alin Dragu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ciacova CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionică Vochin in the 63rd minute of play forced Ciacova CF's goalkeeper Laurențiu Oanță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Marcel Iovanovici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Zbârciog in the 65th minute of play. Șerban Carabulea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Viorel Dacian in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Cornel Dorian. When MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Ionică Vochin in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Ciacova CF's zone, Ionică Vochin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laurențiu Oanță came out of the goal and Ionică Vochin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Cezar Blănaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ionică Vochin put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Laurențiu Oanță. Laurențiu Oanță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Vochin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard, long distance shot from Cornel Dorian flew over the goal. With a little luck, Ciacova CF's Laurențiu Oanță got control of the ball when Șerban Carabulea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laurențiu Oanță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Vochin, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. MONDIAL BUCURESTI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
