Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eusebiu Tănăsocă started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Steaua booed when Rahman CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Răducan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pompiliu Boldișor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steaua's Octavian Sabău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Coroian in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Rahman CS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Cristinel Jucan hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Moise Coroian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Moise Coroian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Sabău was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Octavian Sabău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Frumușanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Coroian in the 33rd minute of play forced Steaua's goalkeeper Octavian Sabău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horia Ciolacu during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horia Ciolacu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With his leg Pavel Seremet managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Steaua's Eusebiu Tănăsocă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Rahman CS's Moise Coroian in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steaua's goalie prevented a goal. Octavian Sabău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moise Coroian, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Eusebiu Tănăsocă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Pavel Seremet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rareș Crăcană kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A hard shot 46 in the game by Eusebiu Tănăsocă from a close distance when the talented Pavel Seremet managed to make a qualified save. Rahman CS's players were relieved.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavian Frumușanu to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Moise Coroian fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Octavian Frumușanu took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Octavian Sabău to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute, Octavian Frumușanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moise Coroian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Sabău having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Marius Pantiș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steaua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rahman CS the free kick. The supporters of Rahman CS booed when Steaua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Pantiș didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Olimpiu Colceriu in the 65th minute really tested Octavian Sabău's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 66th match minute, Steaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Vulturar to maneuver through the defense. Ionică Oprea struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Pavel Seremet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua. Lucrețiu Arapașu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pavel Seremet. Rahman CS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucrețiu Arapașu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Steaua's Octavian Sabău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Frumușanu in the 77th minute of play. Moise Coroian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes in the game, Moise Coroian fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Octavian Sabău having to interfere. Octavian Sabău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Frumușanu in the 87th minute of the match. Pavel Seremet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Oprea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rareș Crăcană hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Steaua supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rahman CS's performance. The match ended with a win for Rahman CS.
