Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Aron Mustea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasile Nastac having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Gigi Borcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Mustea had several of the Strejesti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Vasile Nastac as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gigi Borcea charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gigi Borcea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gigi Borcea kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Vasile Nastac was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dragoş Goanță. With a little luck, Strejesti's Vasile Nastac got control of the ball when Eusebiu Simion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Horia Jecu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cimpuri FCM's Dragoş Goanță tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sergiu Baniu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Nicodim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vintilă Tăzlăuanu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Adam Bungescu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Horia Jecu fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strejesti's protests and gave Horia Jecu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cimpuri FCM booed when Strejesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Jecu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Cornel Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strejesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Nicodim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aron Mustea to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Eugen Inculeț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strejesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Inculeț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Baniu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vasile Nastac came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Cimpuri FCM's Sorin Hârțan. But to his dismay, Sorin Hârțan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Cimpuri FCM's Aron Mustea managed to work through Strejesti's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aron Mustea dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Eusebiu Simion struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Vasile Nastac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cimpuri FCM. Cimpuri FCM's Sergiu Baniu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Cimpuri FCM from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Strejesti's Cristi Ţurcaş got a free kick in the 71st minute. Strejesti's Vasile Nastac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Goanță in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Cornel Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strejesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornel Nicodim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Eusebiu Simion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasile Nastac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasile Nastac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Mustea in the 91st minute of play. Aron Mustea took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasile Nastac. Vasile Nastac dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cimpuri FCM fans cheered their team off the field, for while Strejesti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
