Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Afloroaiei in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcis Panin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narcis Panin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Cocoș in the 7th minute of the match. When Nicolae Cocoș came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Racauti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolae Cocoș couldn't finish the play. In the 17th match minute, Voineasa FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Murărașu to maneuver through the defense. Toader Protase charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toader Protase the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toader Protase hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Marcel Afloroaiei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Panin having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Gavril Cernea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Voineasa FCM and the Racauti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavril Cernea hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcel Afloroaiei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alin Titulescu hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After the first half Racauti FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Răzvan Vrânceanu was the one to do the kick off. When Nicolae Cocoș came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Racauti FC fans jumped to their feet. After 63 minutes of play Voineasa FCM's Toader Protase was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 64th minute, Toader Protase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragoş Boaru struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Tudor Arvinte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Voineasa FCM. A collision led to Racauti FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Manole Deșliu hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Manole Deșliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Afloroaiei in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Panin saved Voineasa FCM from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Cocoș got free with Narcis Panin in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the game, Nicolae Cocoș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Narcis Panin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manole Deșliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Panin having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Cocoș got free with Narcis Panin in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcel Afloroaiei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Narcis Panin. That made the score 0-3 in the 82 minute of play. Marcel Afloroaiei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Narcis Panin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Voineasa FCM's Narcis Panin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Afloroaiei in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Dragoş Boaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Voineasa FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragoş Boaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolae Cocoș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Racauti FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Voineasa FCM.
