Dinu Călimanescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tudor Arvinte having to make a save. Marcel Afloroaiei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Elefterescu having to interfere. Racauti FC's Vasile Doloman pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Petre Buzilă fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRAIOVA MAXIMA's protests and gave Petre Buzilă a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, CRAIOVA MAXIMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Buzilă to maneuver through the defense. Eliodor Elefterescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Afloroaiei in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind CRAIOVA MAXIMA's goalkeeper Eliodor Elefterescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Marcel Afloroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Elefterescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolae Cocoș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Elefterescu having to interfere. A collision led to Racauti FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Manole Deșliu hit a great ball. The supporters of Racauti FC booed when CRAIOVA MAXIMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Călimanescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Racauti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Milescu came free, but Tudor Arvinte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tudor Arvinte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Călimanescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Dinu Călimanescu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Racauti FC's Tudor Arvinte. Tudor Arvinte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolae Cocoș made a kick off. After 50 minutes of play CRAIOVA MAXIMA's Petre Buzilă was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to CRAIOVA MAXIMA getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Petre Buzilă hit a great ball. Eliodor Elefterescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Cocoș in the 52nd minute of play. If Dinu Călimanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manole Deșliu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Nicolae Cocoș came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Racauti FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolae Cocoș couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Racauti FC got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Panaiteanu. After 74 minutes, Ion Purje mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racauti FC and the CRAIOVA MAXIMA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Racauti FC's Ion Purje got a free kick in the 74th minute. A collision led to Racauti FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ion Purje hit a great ball. In the 80th match minute, CRAIOVA MAXIMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Urdea to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Afloroaiei in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliodor Elefterescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcel Afloroaiei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eliodor Elefterescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Horia Arnăutu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CRAIOVA MAXIMA's protests and gave Horia Arnăutu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, CRAIOVA MAXIMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Arnăutu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Dinu Călimanescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Tudor Arvinte however easily saved by the left post.
