Horea Martinescu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fabian Negulici fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hasiduluc's protests and gave Fabian Negulici a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Fabian Negulici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hasiduluc's Iulian Gherasim in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dan Nicorici made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Mihnea Arieșan sent off a good shot on target. Dan Nicorici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionică Zăraşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Fabian Negulici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dorin Măguran was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute of the match, Iulian Gherasim tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dorin Măguran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Horea Martinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes in the game, Horea Martinescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dorin Măguran having to interfere. The Hasiduluc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
