Cezar Pintilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Martinescu in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Chereusa's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Gherasim came free, but Cezar Pintilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezar Pintilescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Gherasim in the 6th minute of play. Dan Nicorici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Merișor in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Albeanu in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezar Pintilescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nae Urdeş came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Chereusa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nae Urdeş couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Hasiduluc's Dan Nicorici got control of the ball when Iacob Maniu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Martinescu in the 29th minute of play forced Chereusa's goalkeeper Cezar Pintilescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cezar Pintilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Gherasim in the 32nd minute of the match. Iacob Maniu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Nicorici having to interfere. Ion Leahu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iulian Siteavu's late challenge caught a Hasiduluc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iulian Siteavu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Chereusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Siteavu to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Hasiduluc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Uncheşu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ion Leahu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chereusa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion Leahu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Nicorici breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute Ion Leahu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Nicorici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Ion Leahu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dan Nicorici. Hasiduluc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ion Leahu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Gherasim to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Hasiduluc's goal looked a bit too open when Nae Urdeş came free, but Dan Nicorici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Nicorici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Merișor in the 57th minute of play. Iulian Gherasim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cezar Pintilescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horea Martinescu made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 60thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cezar Pintilescu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 68th minute, Nae Urdeş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Chereusa getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Mugur Merișor hit a great ball. Mugur Merișor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Nicorici having to interfere. Dan Nicorici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Maniu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Iacob Maniu came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Chereusa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iacob Maniu couldn't finish the play. If Gabriel Gane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasiduluc were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Chereusa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mircea Gligor took the corner. 95 minutes into the game, Horea Martinescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cezar Pintilescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Although Chereusa had been in control for most of the match, Hasiduluc still came away with the win.
