Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Traian Pădure started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Cerisor SC booed when Spinul CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Dragalina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Şuţu scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Turcescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Traian Pădure might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horia Turcescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Traian Pădure ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17 minutes of play, Cerisor SC's Traian Pădure made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horia Turcescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cerisor SC's Gelu Şuţu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Felix Dragalina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Spinul CSM got a freekick which was hit by Manole Pistol. 35 minutes into the game, Gelu Şuţu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cerisor SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spinul CSM the free kick. Emanuel Hurdubețiu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Felix Dragalina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Emilian Marica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Dragalina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 54 minutes, Emanuel Hurdubețiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerisor SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Hurdubețiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felix Dragalina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Marica having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Alexandru Frumușanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Felix Dragalina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Marica was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Felix Dragalina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spinul CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Dragalina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilian Marica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Hurdubețiu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 85th playminute. Horia Turcescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Pădure, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
