Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabriel Răduleț got the match started through his kick off. Cerisor SC's Traian Pădure got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cerisor SC's Emilian Marica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Zafiu in the 21st minute of play. After 24 played minutes Phoenix Baia Mare got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Cozmâncă. Cerisor SC's Traian Pădure got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Phoenix Baia Mare got a freekick which was hit by Damian Şuţu. Cazimir Davidescu made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Emanuel Hurdubețiu sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the game, Petre Zafiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Emilian Marica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cerisor SC's Emilian Marica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Zafiu in the 34th minute of play. Traian Pădure recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Emanuel Hurdubețiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerisor SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Hurdubețiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Răduleț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Gabriel Răduleț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cerisor SC's Alexandru Frumușanu got a free kick in the 46th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Petre Zafiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix Baia Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Petre Zafiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilian Marica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia Mare's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Pădure came free, but Cazimir Davidescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Hurdubețiu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Phoenix Baia Mare defense, Traian Pădure kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cazimir Davidescu. The Phoenix Baia Mare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cazimir Davidescu should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Cerisor SC's Emilian Marica got control of the ball when Petre Zafiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cerisor SC's zone, Gabriel Răduleț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilian Marica came out of the goal and Gabriel Răduleț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petre Zafiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Marica having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Răduleț in the 71st minute of play forced Cerisor SC's goalkeeper Emilian Marica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Răduleț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Emanuel Hurdubețiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerisor SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Hurdubețiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Davidescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Răduleț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Emilian Marica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilian Marica was a little too slow when Gabriel Răduleț got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-2.
