RoPhotoMusic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan-Angel Carrera should have stopped the shot. Juan-Angel Carrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Trifănucă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velyo Statkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cengiz Kont having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Rareș Ignătoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC STEAUA BAIA MARE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half FC STEAUA BAIA MARE were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mugur Trifănucă made a kick off. Juan-Angel Carrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mugur Trifănucă in the 53rd minute. Avram Pascariu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Juan-Angel Carrera made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugur Trifănucă got free with Juan-Angel Carrera in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan-Angel Carrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugur Trifănucă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Avram Pascariu could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Juan-Angel Carrera however easily saved by the left post. Tudor Gurzău received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan-Angel Carrera came out and tried to block the shot, but Tudor Gurzău slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 65th minute. Juan-Angel Carrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Trifănucă in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the game Sorin Uncu made a throw-in which Dan Vieru played forward. A.S. RoPhotoMusic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Constantin Molodețiu in the 74th minute. Velyo Statkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.S. RoPhotoMusic's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Mugur Trifănucă scored to the left of an out of position Juan-Angel Carrera, making the score, 0-5. 80 minutes into the match, A.S. RoPhotoMusic's goalkeeper Juan-Angel Carrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avram Pascariu. In the 82nd minute, FC STEAUA BAIA MARE's Mugur Trifănucă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. A.S. RoPhotoMusic's Juan-Angel Carrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Mălin in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC STEAUA BAIA MARE's zone, Velyo Statkov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cengiz Kont came out of the goal and Velyo Statkov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, A.S. RoPhotoMusic's Dan Vieru got a free kick in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, A.S. RoPhotoMusic's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Mălin came free, but Juan-Angel Carrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC STEAUA BAIA MARE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.S. RoPhotoMusic.
