Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fodorhaz made a substitution. Remus Gorgan replaced Lucian Crivoi. Sabin Gorun made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Sergiu Udup sent off a good shot on target. Sabin Gorun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Papadache in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Laurențiu Gârneață dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sabin Gorun, 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Buciu got free with Sabin Gorun in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Radu Papadache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Sabin Gorun made a huge save. Nicodim Cismarescu charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicodim Cismarescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, MAXIMA CRAIOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Cismarescu to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes Fodorhaz got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Manciulea. MAXIMA CRAIOVA's Sabin Gorun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save MAXIMA CRAIOVA from getting a goal against them. Cătălin Coposu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Sabin Gorun made a huge save. Fodorhaz played a much better game than MAXIMA CRAIOVA and deserved their victory. The MAXIMA CRAIOVA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
