Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernest Siteavu kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Magyar Harcosok's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Siteavu came free, but Horaţiu Mardarescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionel Buciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Petrică Busuioc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircea Burca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Magyar Harcosok got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Brașoveanu. In the 19th match minute, Magyar Harcosok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Zberea to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 20 minutes, Ernest Siteavu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Arges Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Siteavu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mircea Burca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Horaţiu Mardarescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd match minute, Magyar Harcosok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Gavra to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Arges Pitesti's zone, Ionel Buciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petrică Busuioc came out of the goal and Ionel Buciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Fc Arges Pitesti's Mircea Burca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horaţiu Mardarescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niculae Macrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Petrică Busuioc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionel Buciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petrică Busuioc having to make a save. When Ivan Zafiu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Arges Pitesti's protests and gave Ivan Zafiu a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cristian Bârsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernest Siteavu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horaţiu Mardarescu having to make a save. Ernest Siteavu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horea Barboni hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Bogdan Găină's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petrică Busuioc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Ernest Siteavu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Ionel Buciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Mircea Burca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Arges Pitesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Arges Pitesti's goalkeeper Petrică Busuioc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Ionel Buciu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 89th match minute, Magyar Harcosok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Gavra to maneuver through the defense. Horaţiu Mardarescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mircea Burca, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ionel Buciu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Horaţiu Mardarescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Siteavu in the 97th minute of play. Magyar Harcosok's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
