After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Cătălin Coposu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fodorhaz's supporters rose to their feet, but Cătălin Coposu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horaţiu Mardarescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magyar Harcosok's Horaţiu Mardarescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Coposu in the 5th minute of play. Ionel Buciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Nae having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cătălin Coposu in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horaţiu Mardarescu saved Magyar Harcosok from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Magyar Harcosok's zone, Corneliu Manciulea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Mardarescu came out of the goal and Corneliu Manciulea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Cătălin Coposu made a precise shot to the right of Horaţiu Mardarescu. Magyar Harcosok's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cătălin Coposu in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Mardarescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the game, Fodorhaz's Corneliu Manciulea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Fodorhaz fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Fodorhaz's Cătălin Coposu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Fodorhaz getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Laurențiu Gârneață hit a great ball. If Laurențiu Gârneață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fodorhaz's Remus Gorgan was substituted for Lucian Crivoi. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cătălin Coposu to make the kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Cătălin Coposu from a close distance when the talented Horaţiu Mardarescu managed to make a qualified save. Magyar Harcosok's players were relieved. In the 61st minute Radu Papadache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Mardarescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horaţiu Mardarescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Coposu in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Cătălin Coposu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodorhaz made a substitution. Lucian Novac replaced Marius Fetea. When Mihai Buciu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Fodorhaz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihai Buciu couldn't finish the play. If Laurențiu Gârneață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cătălin Coposu might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horaţiu Mardarescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cătălin Coposu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th match minute, Magyar Harcosok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Macrea to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Coposu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radu Papadache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Horaţiu Mardarescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Magyar Harcosok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Șerban Rușanu to maneuver through the defense. Radu Papadache struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Horaţiu Mardarescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fodorhaz. Cătălin Coposu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cătălin Coposu got free with Horaţiu Mardarescu in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Fodorhaz left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Magyar Harcosok.
