Basarab Stoian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Nistor Niculescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Baragini's Basarab Stoian. Basarab Stoian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Basarab Stoian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Gherdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Baragini were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
