Manuel Vancea hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Panait Pintilescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sibot's supporters rose to their feet, but Panait Pintilescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Maniu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 minutes of play, Sibot's Panait Pintilescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Maniu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vulcez CSM's Robert Maniu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Pintilescu in the 22nd minute of play. Nistor Marian's late challenge caught a Sibot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nistor Marian helped the player get up and apologised. Nistor Marian hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Sibot's Panait Pintilescu got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Vulcez CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Bostan to maneuver through the defense. Vali Boroș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Fetanu in the 36th minute. Panait Pintilescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Robert Maniu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Panait Pintilescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Robert Maniu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panait Pintilescu was the one to do the kick off. Vali Boroș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Damian in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Panait Pintilescu sped through Vulcez CSM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robert Maniu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Remus during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vulcez CSM's Robert Maniu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Baldu in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute Gheorghe Oanță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Maniu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79thth minute of the game Panait Pintilescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vulcez CSM's Robert Maniu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Calistrat Baldu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sibot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calistrat Baldu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Panait Pintilescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Maniu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute Panait Pintilescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Maniu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Vulcez CSM's goalkeeper Robert Maniu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panait Pintilescu. Calistrat Baldu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Robert Maniu made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Ivan Fetanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Sibot could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vulcez CSM throughout the match.
