After having played for 4 minutes, Călin Vanghelie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burnaz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Vanghelie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burnaz FC's George Eftimiu got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Serafo's late challenge caught a Leghea Bihorului's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Serafo helped the player get up and apologised. 12 minutes into the match, Leghea Bihorului's goal looked a bit too open when George Eftimiu came free, but Liviu Gavra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Leghea Bihorului getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gigel Hurmuzache hit a great ball. Gică Mirciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liviu Gavra didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Burnaz FC's George Eftimiu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 23rd minute, Gigel Hurmuzache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liviu Gavra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Eftimiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Vanghelie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Călin Vanghelie struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Liviu Gavra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burnaz FC. 37 minutes into the match, Leghea Bihorului's goal looked a bit too open when George Eftimiu came free, but Liviu Gavra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game George Eftimiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leghea Bihorului's Liviu Gavra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Mangra got free with Alin Dridu in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Eftimiu in the 43rd minute of play forced Leghea Bihorului's goalkeeper Liviu Gavra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Gavra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Eftimiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Leghea Bihorului players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Burnaz FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mircea Pașcanu to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Leghea Bihorului booed when Burnaz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Cârstoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute George Eftimiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Gavra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Eftimiu struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Liviu Gavra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Avram Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Dridu having to interfere. Alexandru Maxim hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, George Eftimiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burnaz FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Eftimiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Leghea Bihorului defense, Călin Vanghelie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liviu Gavra. The Leghea Bihorului fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liviu Gavra should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Eftimiu in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Gavra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 played minutes Burnaz FC got a freekick which was hit by Costel Bejgăneanu. After 92 played minutes, Leghea Bihorului's Alexandru Maxim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alin Dridu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leghea Bihorului reached it. Burnaz FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Leghea Bihorului's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isac Olăroiu took the corner. In the 99th minute of the match Burnaz FC got a corner. Leghea Bihorului's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isac Olăroiu ran over to the corner to take the kick.
