Adrian Ispir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Noica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilie Cuculeanu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Ionuț Ioviță shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tudor Brănet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Eugen Romanescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tudor Brănet. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 47th match minute, FC Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Romanescu to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugen Romanescu to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Pompiliu Ciocârlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 77th minute, Olimpiu Gaiță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Ispir was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Olimpiu Gaiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Savarlau CSS's Pompiliu Ciocârlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Ispir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ştefan Zgaroi charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ştefan Zgaroi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes FC Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Zgaroi. In the 87th minute, Eugen Romanescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Olimpiu Gaiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Gaiță received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrian Ispir came out and tried to block the shot, but Olimpiu Gaiță slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 92nd minute. Ştefan Zgaroi kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
