The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ioan Suciu to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebiu Caramarin in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinu Zamfirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Eusebiu Caramarin made a precise shot to the right of Dinu Zamfirescu. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club FCSB SA's Gheorghe Olaru got a free kick in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Caramarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinu Zamfirescu. Fotbal Club FCSB SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Sever Pelin fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fotbal Club FCSB SA's protests and gave Sever Pelin a yellow card for diving instead. Sever Pelin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Eusebiu Caramarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aly Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebiu Caramarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dinu Zamfirescu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Aly Team's Eusebiu Caramarin. But to his dismay, Eusebiu Caramarin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 90thth minute of the game Eusebiu Caramarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fotbal Club FCSB SA's Dinu Zamfirescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aly Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
