An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Oniga in the 13th minute of play forced Motiori FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Zubaşcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Zubaşcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Oniga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Motiori FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dan Ogășanu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Dragusenii's Corneliu Cigu got control of the ball when Robert Damian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corneliu Cigu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Dorlea in the 22nd minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Denis Roşu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dragusenii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motiori FC the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Dragusenii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Roşu to maneuver through the defense. Corneliu Cigu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Dorlea in the 31st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Motiori FC's zone, Silviu Oniga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Răzvan Zubaşcu came out of the goal and Silviu Oniga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Dragusenii's Silviu Oniga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Zubaşcu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Corneliu Cigu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Dorlea in the 54th minute of the match. Robert Damian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Cigu having to interfere. Dragusenii's Corneliu Cigu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Dorlea in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Motiori FC's Răzvan Zubaşcu got control of the ball when Mădălin Balint tried to sneak it across the goal line. Răzvan Zubaşcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Oniga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Marcu Dorlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Cigu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Motiori FC booed when Dragusenii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Balint didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silviu Oniga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Răzvan Zubaşcu having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Motiori FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Oniga came free, but Răzvan Zubaşcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Motiori FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Zubaşcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviu Oniga. In the 86th minute of the match, Silviu Oniga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Răzvan Zubaşcu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Corneliu Cigu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Ogășanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silviu Oniga took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Răzvan Zubaşcu. Răzvan Zubaşcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 96th minute Marcu Dorlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Cigu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Dragusenii players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
