In the 14th match minute, FC Steaua Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Hizo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Bucuresti's Liviu Neacșu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Aurel Ichimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Tătaru having to interfere. Albert Omescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Omescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Fabian Turcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Turcu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Agusoaei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Agusoaei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 minutes of play, Arkos AC's Albert Omescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Turcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurel Ichimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Arkos AC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Omescu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Bucuresti's Liviu Neacșu got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 59 played minutes, Arkos AC's Ilie Augustin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fabian Turcu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arkos AC reached it. After 63 played minutes FC Steaua Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Aron Hizo. In the 66th minute, Albert Omescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolae Manciu took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabin Tătaru. Sabin Tătaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisc Carp during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Francisc Carp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Ivan Agusoaei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arkos AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Agusoaei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ivan Agusoaei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Omescu came free, but Fabian Turcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narcis Boltașu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Arkos AC's Sergiu Şandru tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FC Steaua Bucuresti's Aurel Ichimescu got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantin Gherdan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Arkos AC played a much better game than FC Steaua Bucuresti and deserved their victory. The FC Steaua Bucuresti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
