Olimpiu Ghiondea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Răţescu having to interfere. Samuel Rajah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Zâncă in the 12th minute of the match. BLUE LIONS FC's Adrian Răţescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save BLUE LIONS FC from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Aristide Stoicea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Olimpiu Ghiondea put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adrian Răţescu. After having played for 21 minutes, Olimpiu Ghiondea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanacu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Ghiondea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Tanacu's Olimpiu Ghiondea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Răţescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Manuel Lucrețiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adrian Răţescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Lucrețiu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 33rd minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Olimpiu Ghiondea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tanacu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Ghiondea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mihai Anisie fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tanacu's protests and gave Mihai Anisie a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Olimpiu Ghiondea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. BLUE LIONS FC's Adrian Răţescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Lucrețiu in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Zâncă in the 54th minute of play forced Tanacu's goalkeeper Samuel Rajah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucian Chiliman scored 4-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Rajah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Răţescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Ghiondea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the game, Manuel Lucrețiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Adrian Răţescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 70 minutes of play, Tanacu's Manuel Lucrețiu made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Răţescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Aristide Stoicea in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tanacu's Mihai Anisie. 79 minutes into the match, Manuel Lucrețiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Răţescu. BLUE LIONS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Lucrețiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. After a rather tough play, BLUE LIONS FC's Fabian Zâncă got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in BLUE LIONS FC's zone, Manuel Lucrețiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Răţescu came out of the goal and Manuel Lucrețiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BLUE LIONS FC's Adrian Răţescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Lucrețiu in the 86th minute of play. Olimpiu Ghiondea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Răţescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Adrian Răţescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olimpiu Ghiondea's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Tanacu were the better team. Tanacu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
