Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mihail Șofran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marian Buhăescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Postelnicescu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Cristi Gheție came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Ocracu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristi Gheție couldn't finish the play. Mihail Șofran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Stiinta getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Victor Neaga hit a great ball. Corneliu Dănănae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Buhăescu having to interfere. Corneliu Dănănae struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Marian Buhăescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocracu FC. In the 29th minute, Corneliu Dănănae fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Marian Buhăescu, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Mihail Șofran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ocracu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Șofran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Buhăescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Marian Buhăescu managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Ocracu FC's Cristi Gheție fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 34 played minutes Ocracu FC got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Dănănae. Corneliu Dănănae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Buhăescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Șofran in the 41st minute of play forced Stiinta's goalkeeper Marian Buhăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panait Popoiu to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Gheție in the 51st minute of play forced Stiinta's goalkeeper Marian Buhăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Șofran took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Buhăescu. Marian Buhăescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The Ocracu FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Ocracu FC's Cristi Gheție looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Mihail Șofran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Buhăescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Postelnicescu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 62 minutes into the game, Calistrat Vulpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stiinta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ocracu FC the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Calistrat Vulpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 67 minutes, Mihail Șofran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocracu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Șofran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marian Buhăescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Șofran in the 69th minute of the match. Eugen Postelnicescu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Marian Buhăescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Șofran, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Virgil Mihuț could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sorin Şoiman made a huge save. Panait Popoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Sorin Şoiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Panait Popoiu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Eugen Postelnicescu was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Stiinta booed when Ocracu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Postelnicescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stiinta's Eduard Medeleanu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dănănae in the 87th minute of play forced Stiinta's goalkeeper Marian Buhăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristi Gheție recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dumitru Tinu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneliu Dănănae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Marian Buhăescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihail Șofran in the 96th minute of play forced Stiinta's goalkeeper Marian Buhăescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Ocracu FC were the better team. Ocracu FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
