Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) F.C. Obîrșeni's Dumitru Encea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Flavius Abrudan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iustin Tomoiu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ştefan Sticlaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Dorian in the 9th minute of play. Ştefan Sticlaru didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 38th match minute, UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dumitru Braia to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the game, F.C. Obîrșeni's Dan Niculiță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Ştiubei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Encea in the 43rd minute of play forced UNIVERSITATEA CRAIOVA's goalkeeper Aron Ştiubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavius Abrudan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ştefan Sticlaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Ştiubei came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Obîrșeni's Dan Niculiță. But to his dismay, Dan Niculiță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ştefan Sticlaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavius Abrudan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute.
