Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Costel Stănoiu started the match with the kick off. Nicodim Rădoi made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Dinu Cojan sent off a good shot on target. After 4 played minutes FC Voința Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Frumușanu. After a defensive mix-up in FC Voința Buzau's zone, Costel Stănoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlad Ghișe came out of the goal and Costel Stănoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Dinu Cojan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Cojan got free with Nicodim Rădoi in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, FC Voința Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Stănoiu came free, but Vlad Ghișe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Costel Stănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Ghișe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Costel Stănoiu made a precise shot to the right of Vlad Ghișe. FC Voința Buzau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Costel Stănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silviu Albeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Vlad Ghișe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narcis Logofătu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Comuna Botosani's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dinu Bobailă in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on Comuna Botosani's corner Dinu Bobailă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vlad Ghișe quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of FC Voința Buzau booed when Comuna Botosani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Toacsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costel Stănoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Ghișe having to interfere. If Costel Stănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Comuna Botosani's Costel Stănoiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vlad Ghișe. That made the score 0-2 after 70 minutes of play. Narcis Logofătu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vlad Ghișe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Stănoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vlad Ghișe made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Narcis Logofătu sent off a good shot on target. Costel Stănoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Vlad Ghișe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comuna Botosani's Narcis Logofătu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Vlad Ghișe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Stănoiu in the 91st minute of the match. Costel Stănoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vlad Ghișe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Stănoiu in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Ghișe saved FC Voința Buzau from getting behind. Comuna Botosani played a much better game than FC Voința Buzau and deserved their victory. The FC Voința Buzau players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
