Gavril Gioagă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Cobâlcescu in the 9th minute of the match. Antonel Gherguț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dumitru Trifu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Crispijn Deprez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Antonel Gherguț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumitru Trifu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crispijn Deprez, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Antonel Gherguț managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pașcani's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonel Gherguț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toader Văduva couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Crispijn Deprez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Trifu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Crispijn Deprez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pașcani's supporters rose to their feet, but Crispijn Deprez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Trifu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Crispijn Deprez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelu Cobâlcescu to make the kick off. When Crispijn Deprez in the 54th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Dumitru Trifu kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 58 minutes into the match, Pașcani's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Cobâlcescu came free, but Gavril Gioagă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavril Gioagă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gavril Gioagă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Iustinian Ioniță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Toader Văduva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dumitru Trifu. That made the score 2-2 in the 93 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Toader Văduva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pașcani's supporters rose to their feet, but Toader Văduva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dumitru Trifu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pașcani were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
