Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stancilova's Valentin Archiudean started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cristinel Goșa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Mircescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Archiudean, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Radu Bădoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stancilova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Valentin Archiudean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Mircescu having to interfere. In the 21st minute Valentin Archiudean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Mircescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Archiudean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Stancilova's goalkeeper Lucian Pârvuță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Stoleru. If Radu Bădoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Archiudean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Leontin Mircescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Stoleru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristinel Goșa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Stancilova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Şimandan to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Archiudean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leontin Mircescu having to interfere. If Paul Stoleru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Astafei charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Astafei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Parauseni SC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Astafei. Gică Hulubei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leontin Mircescu. Parauseni SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Goșa in the 69th minute of play forced Stancilova's goalkeeper Lucian Pârvuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Stoleru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Stancilova defense, Paul Stoleru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucian Pârvuță. The Stancilova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucian Pârvuță should have stopped the shot. Adam Astafei kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Radu Bădoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leontin Mircescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Leontin Mircescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Şimandan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
