Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihail Donecea in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costel Arseanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costel Arseanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Donecea, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Academia Vlahilor's Calistrat Popeangă got a free kick in the 18th minute. A hard shot 19 in the game by Horaţiu Brezoi from a close distance when the talented Ovidiu Poplăcean managed to make a qualified save. FC Academia Vlahilor's players were relieved. In the 26th match minute, FC Malina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Vlădean to maneuver through the defense. Costel Arseanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Munteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Cosmin Rednic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emil Urducea fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Academia Vlahilor's protests and gave Emil Urducea a yellow card for diving instead. FC Malina's Costel Arseanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Munteanu in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, FC Academia Vlahilor's Mihail Donecea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costel Arseanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mihail Donecea might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costel Arseanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihail Donecea ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Horaţiu Brezoi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihail Donecea was the one to do the kick off. Mihail Donecea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laurențiu Munteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Arseanu having to interfere. FC Malina's Costel Arseanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Donecea in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mihail Donecea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Academia Vlahilor's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Donecea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costel Arseanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laurențiu Munteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ovidiu Poplăcean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Rednic in the 67th minute of play. If Mihail Donecea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Munteanu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Costel Arseanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Academia Vlahilor. In the 73rd minute, Mihail Donecea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Mihail Donecea made a precise shot to the right of Costel Arseanu. FC Malina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Mihail Donecea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costel Arseanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Mihail Donecea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Academia Vlahilor's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihail Donecea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Malina's Costel Arseanu got control of the ball when Laurențiu Munteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded FC Academia Vlahilor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Malina.
