Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valentin Turcescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Tudor Lixandru notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chelsea FC's Cezar Bogatu. Cezar Bogatu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin Turcescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mugur Luncaniță. That made the score 2-1 in the 13 minute of play. Grigore Neicu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Cezar Bogatu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Lixandru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Chelsea FC defense, Claudiu Ciocoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cezar Bogatu. The Chelsea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cezar Bogatu should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Valentin Turcescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mugur Luncaniță. The goal made the score 4-2. When Felix Siadbei fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Farul Constanta's protests and gave Felix Siadbei a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Fc Farul Constanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chelsea FC:s goal. Vasile Uncescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mugur Luncaniță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Turcescu in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Luncaniță saved Fc Farul Constanta from getting behind. Mugur Luncaniță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasile Uncescu's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Cătălin Zegreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fc Farul Constanta's Mugur Luncaniță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Uncescu in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Lixandru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aristide Ciocoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Bogatu having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Fc Farul Constanta's Cezar Bogatu threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tudor Lixandru, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Chelsea FC's Cezar Bogatu got control of the ball when Aristide Ciocoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chelsea FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Grigore Neicu scored to the left of an out of position Cezar Bogatu, making the score, 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Farul Constanta's Aristide Ciocoiu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cezar Bogatu. That made the score 4-4 after 64 minutes of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Valentin Turcescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Farul Constanta's Mugur Luncaniță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 68th minute, Vasile Uncescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Luncaniță was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. After having played for 72 minutes, Cătălin Zegreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Zegreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentin Turcescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mugur Luncaniță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Vasile Uncescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Luncaniță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Cătălin Zegreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Luncaniță. Fc Farul Constanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cătălin Zegreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-4. In the 83rd minute, Valentin Turcescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugur Luncaniță was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-4. Mugur Luncaniță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Turcescu's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Fc Farul Constanta's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Uncescu came free, but Mugur Luncaniță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 minutes, Mihăiţă Brăiloiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Farul Constanta and the Chelsea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mihăiţă Brăiloiu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Chelsea FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
