Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nechifor Caba started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau's Sergiu Cosoroabă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Grama in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 6 minutes, Grigore Grama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Efervescent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Grama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, one of FC Efervescent:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aristide Mihu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Cosoroabă having to interfere. If Grigore Grama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Codrea's late challenge caught a FC Efervescent's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Codrea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Codrea to maneuver through the defense. During the 19th minute of the match Dan Codrea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dan Codrea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 19th match minute, -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Codrea to maneuver through the defense. Aristide Mihu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Sergiu Cosoroabă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Mihu got free with Sergiu Cosoroabă in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Ştefan Bilașco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Arne Lund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Aristide Mihu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Sergiu Cosoroabă skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sergiu Cosoroabă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Grama in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristide Mihu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiu Cosoroabă saved -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau's zone, Aristide Mihu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Cosoroabă came out of the goal and Aristide Mihu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergiu Cosoroabă made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Aristide Mihu sent off a good shot on target. Grigore Grama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Grigore Grama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Cosoroabă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Maghiran kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Grigore Grama made the kick off in the second half. FC Efervescent's Stig-Arne Lund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save FC Efervescent from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau's Ciprian Costa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Grigore Grama had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Aristide Mihu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristide Mihu might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergiu Cosoroabă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristide Mihu ran back to his position shaking his head. Aristide Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau's Nechifor Caba got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau's zone, Aristide Mihu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Cosoroabă came out of the goal and Aristide Mihu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ştefan Bilașco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Lund having to interfere. Aristide Mihu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergiu Cosoroabă having to make a save. Aristide Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Aristide Mihu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergiu Cosoroabă was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Mihu in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Cosoroabă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play -BZF- F.C.Galactic Buzau's Manole Maghiran was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Aristide Mihu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Efervescent lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
